Narin angel cards · Card meanings
You Are Safe
You are wrapped in loving protection. Rest in the comfort that you are always guarded and cherished.
What the You Are Safe card means
You Are Safe is the card that arrives at two in the morning.
Anxiety is very good at making everything feel urgent at once. It takes real fears and unlikely ones and stacks them together until they weigh the same. This card does not argue with the fears. It just points out what is true right now, in this room: you are here. You are breathing. Nothing is happening in this moment.
That is a smaller promise than it sounds, and a more useful one. Not everything will be fine forever - nobody can promise that. But right now, you are safe, and right now is where you actually live.
When it tends to appear
You Are Safe comes up on the nights your mind will not settle, and in the days after something frightening when the fear is still running long after the danger passed. It also appears for people carrying something heavy for someone else, who have not asked who is holding them.
Something to sit with
Put a hand where you feel it - chest, stomach, jaw. Ask what it is bracing for. Then ask whether that thing is happening now, or whether it is a rehearsal.
Pull your own card
Your card is not chosen from a list. Take a breath, and let one find you.
